Brayden's Newborn Session

The mom contacted me last week to schedule their session. I had 4 days to get their session planned and setup. It was fun coming up with new things. My friend (photographer herself) and owner of Le Petit Lune (https://www.facebook.com/lepetitluneprops/) and I came up with some cute pants and rompers, pillows, and wraps for this session. 

When their session arrived last Sunday, they came with the new big sister Brynlee who is 2 1/2 years old and such a cute little doll. I had a specific image I wanted to do with back lighting, so 2 days prior I had my little's model for me to get what I wanted. The parents love the shot of all of them together

Brynlee was excited to hold baby brother, but for a short time. We got some cute images of them together. Now little man was sooooo wiggly and didn't really want to be wrapped. He was awake a lot for his session. Once the sibling and family images were completed, Dad whisked away Brynlee for some lunch and Ice Cream while mom and baby stayed behind for the rest of the session.

Newborn Session Contest

Being a mom is a gift of unconditional love. It's a relationship that never ends. It's the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me and the greatest thing I have become.

Sooooooo......I want to do something pretty awesome. I want to give away a newborn session to a special mom. I would like all of you to nominate someone who you think deserves a free newborn session.

Cake Smash Sessions

I know, I know. It has been a while since I posted last. I am going to try harder to write a blog after every session, but no guarantees. 

This is about my recent cake smashes. I have done 2 recently and I have one set up next month that I am getting ready for. I would love to do more of these sessions. They are really hard work and super messy, but man are they fun. Some babies just do not like getting messy while others just go to town. It is so fun to see. 

So the last 2 cake smash sessions, one was a girl with purple and teal colors, and the other was a Where the Wild Things Are theme. 

First, the Wild One Session. This was so fun to create. I, along with a great friend made this backdrop, cute out the leaves, moon, stars, and the monsters. I also painted the "I'll eat you up" canvas. Mom brought the cake, banner and hat, which she graciously gave me when she left the studio. 

Second session is one of my close friends daughter. I am like another Auntie to her. 
 

The next cake smash session will be next month and it is a Dallas Cowboys theme. I am already working on the setup.

Valentine's Mini Sessions coming up in 2 weeks.

I am getting geared up for my Valentine Mini session's for 1/27/18 and am getting pretty excited. I love the backdrop that I have chosen for this year. It is so pretty.

Welcome to my new blog.

This blog will showcase some of my favorite images from each photography session. 

I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Jayme King. I am a wife, mom, & photographer. My kids, Mason (6) and Jenna (3.5) are my world. I love being their mom and watching them grow into the beautiful kids that they are.

Here are a few of my kids pictures because well, I am smitten with them.

My love of photography has grown so much in the last couple of years because I get to work with some amazing clients. I can't wait to be able to work with you!!!
